5 star rating, 3 stars is average and everything else to the right is above average. With that said, I'm comparing these to other tires out there like Nitto Neo Gen, Pirrelli PZero, Yokohama Advan Sport, and Toyo Proxes 4 Plus. It really depends on what you're doing. I am an aggressive driver and take tight corners. I'll drift at legal events in a blue moon. These tires can handle anything and will NOT chunk out rubber or unravel on you. It actually has a lot of grip and are the only tires that I could take up to Bear Mtn during snow season with chains of course. ALL the tires mentioned are worst in snow. In matter of fact, the Yokohama Advan Sport is a summer tire only and I spun out in the snow with chains on at 25 MPH shifting from 2nd to 3rd. Normal daily driving, I'd stay away from these since the side walls are reinforced and stiff. Something more forgiving and quiet are the Federal Formosa FD2. I had them on in place of these and found them to be pretty good for the money.
Good overall tire. I like the tread design. Looks good. Cornering is where these tires shine.
